digitalwerk Presents Innovative Tools for Testing and Open Source Compliance at the transform.10 After-Work Event

At the transform.10 x After-Work event in Eitensheim, digitalwerk GmbH presented two of its latest developments, demonstrating how efficiency, precision, and security can be seamlessly combined in automotive software engineering: the Supertester and EasyCheckOSS. Both tools highlight digitalwerk’s role as a technological pioneer in test automation, software quality, and open source compliance.

During the event, the Supertester was demonstrated live on a vehicle and generated considerable interest. The system enables driver assistance systems (ADAS) to be tested directly in the vehicle—quickly, precisely, and reproducibly. By integrating with ADTF (Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework), vehicle signals can be captured in real time and subsequently evaluated automatically in the Supertester. This allows test results to be analyzed significantly faster, reducing development times and increasing validation accuracy.
Another strength of the system is its integration with the test management system e.CoSys, which enables centralized control of test planning, execution, and documentation. In this way, the Supertester ensures seamless, transparent, and efficient test management—an important step toward fully digitalized development processes.

digitalwerk is also setting new standards in the field of open source compliance. With EasyCheckOSS, the company supports its customers in using open-source components in a legally compliant and transparent manner. The web-based tool offers several free functions on a dedicated landing page, allowing users to verify compliance with current standards and legal regulations—for example, those related to the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
The integrated CRA Check helps assess software with respect to its security requirements. Through the Quick Scan, developers can upload source code or software packages to receive a complete overview of all included open-source licenses. The SPDX Viewer additionally allows Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) in the widely used SPDX format to be displayed in a clearly structured, readable form.

With EasyCheckOSS, the complex topic of open source compliance becomes far more accessible for companies. The tool helps development and legal departments minimize risks, create transparency, and efficiently implement regulatory requirements—an essential building block for secure software in tomorrow’s connected mobility.

The presentation of both solutions at the transform.10 event illustrated how consistently digitalwerk is developing innovative software tools that meet the challenges of modern vehicle development. Whether through automated testing or the simplification of compliance processes, digitalwerk is actively driving digital transformation in the mobility sector and making a significant contribution to the quality and safety of future vehicle generations.
