digitalwerk receives development & sales licence from ADTF

For years, the future trend of autonomous driving has been moving the automotive industry. The fact that every car manufacturer is developing various solutions for driver assistance systems together with numerous suppliers, proves that the vision of the driverless vehicle is no longer just a pipe dream. Since this year, digitalwerk has also positioned itself as a specialist in the field of autonomous driving and will receive the exclusive sales and development license of the software framework ADTF from January 2017.

ADTF stands for Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework, a tool for the development of intelligent driver assistance systems. With the help of ADTF, ADAS and HAD components can be easily developed and tested. The development platform also records vehicle data that can be immediately visualized and creates the possibility to simulate complex scenarios in SIL/HIL test environments. A special feature of the framework is the time-synchronous processing of multiple data streams. Further information on ADTF can be found here.

Elektrobit on board as sales partner

In addition to the development license of the software framework, digitalwerk also owns the distribution license of ADTF. As a competent distribution partner, digitalwerk was able to win Elektrobit from Erlangen. “We are pleased to have Elektrobit as a strong partner on our side at an early stage and look forward positively to the future cooperation,” explains Frank Fichtner, Managing Director of digitalwerk.
