Trucks: New Customer in the ADTF Forum
As digitalwerk, we have been the exclusive holder of the distribution and development license for ADTF (Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework) since 2017. Due to our agile development approach, we as a specialist for tools and frameworks have regularly launched new releases of the automotive software framework in the past years. “The acceptance of ADTF as a development tool in the field of driver assistance systems has massively strengthened,” says Michael Lübbeke, one of the two digitalwerk managing directors. Several OEMs are now among the ADTF customers.
Recently, a leading German OEM from the commercial vehicle sector also became a member of the ADTF forum – a milestone for the further development of ADTF. It is important to build up broad knowledge and experience, in order to generate solutions for customers and to be able to optimally design ADTF not only for passenger cars but also for other automotive sectors.
The use cases of the ADTF community help with this. “The commercial vehicle sector is ahead of passenger cars in many aspects,” explains Lübbeke. “In the truck sector, you can map some use cases that you don’t yet see in the passenger car sector,” he continues.
