ADTF enables the software defined vehicle

Data Management: Our capabilities in data management extend to various data formats and their conversion. This encompasses a wide range of file formats as well as data formats. ADTF itself features its own Data Definition Language (DDL) that describes C++ structures, making it highly performant. This enables zero-copy and compiler-optimized data transport between filters. Since ADTF is highly modular, the implementation of custom data formats can be seamlessly accomplished at any time. For example, a smooth transition to Protobuf is feasible.

Data Flow: Data Flow is an integral part of ADTF or the utilized middleware. One advantage for you as a customer is that you need not concern yourself with the technical details of protocols. The appropriate integration and implementation are handled on our end, ensuring that you are well-prepared for the future, regardless of the prevailing system technology. If our customers are already using their own middleware, we can swiftly create interfaces.

Data Processing (Smart Logging): When integrated into data logging, ADTF can make the DataLogger intelligent. ADTF takes on the task of intelligently recording data and bringing functionalities directly to the data.

Data Rich Environment: We collaborate with numerous manufacturers in the data logging field and have already established successful partnerships with sensor manufacturers for connecting various hardware. Based on this foundation, we offer a platform that allows sensor manufacturers to showcase their integrations and provides end-users with a central distribution platform.

Real-Time Decisions: ADTF operates in real-time and deterministically. Thanks to a sophisticated scheduling mechanism, we have full control over the execution time of each filter, enabling ADTF to make real-time decisions. If a software component exceeds its time constraints, ADTF can respond in various ways.
